GRADUATE CERAMICS

MFA

MASTER OF FINE ARTS

PROGRAM

The full time student should expect to spend a minimum of three academic years in residency to complete the degree. The program is based on the individual's area of interest and is jointly planned by the student, a committee of the graduate faculty, and a professor who serves as advisor to the student in the principal studio area. Students present an MFA exhibition at the end of their final year.

ASSISTANTSHIPS

All current graduate students receive a 25% assistantship, which provides a full tuition waiver and monthly stipend. These assistantships may include teaching introductory courses, assisting in studio/fabrication areas, or our 3,600 square-foot art gallery. While all graduate students are currently funded, assistantships cannot be guaranteed.
